The Goethe-Institut welcomes you to the Exhibition “Movement Frozen in Time. Exhibition of Dance Images” at Alliance Française Dar es Salaam.
The exhibition was officiated for the public on 21st October 2008, and will last until 08th November 2008. The exhibition is open from Monday to Saturday from 10.00 a.m. to 18.00 p.m. The Goethe-Institut organised the photographs exhibition inline with the Dance Festival Visa 2 Dance 2008.
The exhibition portrays 60 works by contemporary German artists including a video installation. Their work is characterized by a closed view on single dancers, their bodies and details. The images are offering a representative insight in an art form at the interface of Documentation and Artistic Autonomy.
