ReplyDeleteWaziri Mkuu wa Australia anatokana na chama-tawala. Ni Mkuu wa Serikali iliyotokana na chama-tawala.
Mpaka sasa Mkuu wa Dola (State) ni Malkia wa Uingereza. Australia inatunga miswada na kuwa sheria. Lakini sheria hizo ni lazima ziidhinishwe na Malkia wa Uingereza. Na wakati mwingine mtu wa kufanya hivyo ni Mwakilishi wake, Gavana-Mkuu.
Nchi nyingi za Madola (zamani makoloni ya Uingereza) ambazo si jamhuri zina utaratibu wa nmana hii.
Mkitadha wa hoja hii unakuza pia suala la kuita ma-Balozi wa Nchi za Madola kama High Commissioners!
Tuchukue mfano wa Uingereza na Nchi za madola zisizo Jamhuri: Mwakilishi wa Dola ni Gavana-Mkuu; na Balozi anawakilisha serikali.
Kusema kweli si sawa kumwita Balozi wa Tanzania nchini Australia au Uingereza kuwa ni High Commissioner! Ni Ambassador!
Lakini Balozi wa Uingereza nchini Tanzania ni High Commissioner!
Tulizoea tu kuwaita ma-balozi wetu katika Nchi za Madola, "High Commissioners" kwa sababu tulikuwa bado kuwa Jamhuri!

The Governor-General is The Queen's representative in Australia. As such, he or she performs the same constitutional role in Australia as The Queen does in the United Kingdom.
ReplyDeleteThe Queen maintains direct contact with the Governor-General, although she delegates executive power to him or her in virtually every respect.
The present Governor-General of Australia is Her Excellency Ms Quentin Bryce AC.
Duties which the Governor-General carries out in the name of The Queen include opening and dissolving the Australian Parliament; commissioning the Prime Minister and appointing other Ministers after elections; giving assent to laws when they have been passed by the two Houses of Parliament; and appointing Federal judges and ambassadors and high commissioners to overseas countries.
The Governor-General is the Commander-in-Chief of the Australian Defence Force, although in practice he or she acts only on the advice of Ministers. As Commander-in-Chief, the Governor-General has an important ceremonial role to play.
He or she attends military parades and special occasions such as Anzac Day, and presents colours and other insignia to units of the Australian Defence Force.
As The Queen's representative, the Governor-General also receives and entertains official visitors to Australia; conducts investitures at which people receive awards for notable service to the community; and entertains many Australian citizens active in the life of the community.
Both the Governor-General and The Queen send congratulatory messages to people celebrating notable birthdays and wedding anniversaries

Australia is one of the most beautiful places I tell you! Uzuri wake ni kwamba hata wanafunzi wengi wa Tanzania wanaoenda kusoma kule huwa wanaishia kusoma kweli sababu nchi ile ipo very strict. Sio kama US au UK ambako mtu anasoma semester moja then inayofuata anafanya kazi unakuta degree ya miaka mitatu njemba inasoma kwa miaka sita!!!
ReplyDeleteNimebahatika kusoma Australia my undergraduate degree for 4 yrs and spent another year having a good time travelling (backpacking) all over Australia before coming back to Tanzania to work and live for good even though its a lovely place home is always best especially when you actually have a home to come to (hapa najifagilia kidogo) wadau wala msimind ni ukweli, bongo tunaipenda sema wanasiasa wanachafua sana nchi! Tanzania sio masikini ila tunapokwenda tutakuwa masikini wa kweli maana madini tumeyafuja wageni wanayamaliza na kuishia makwao; viwanda tumeua na kubinafsisha ingawa hatuoni faida yake tumesoma weweeee na sasa wanasiasa wanataka kutufanya hatuna akili kwa kutupeleka kiholela holela.
Dawa yao iko jikoni.
Hatuwezi kufikia kiwango cha Australia hata siku moja sababu ya Ubinafsi tulionao! We fail to have common goals for the country, everyone wanna drive a BMW or a Prado instead of kujenga nchi tunajenga matumbo yetu binafsi! Bloody hopeless I tell ya'.
