The U.S Embassy Public Affairs Officer Dr. Ilya Levin with Mkude Kilosa, one of the instructors of the Baba wa Watoto Center for Children and Youth after he presented a donation of 400 text books and sports gear donated by the American people to the Center on Thursday, October 28, 2010. The Center aims at empowering vulnerable children and youth from poor neighborhoods of Manzese, Mabibo and Mburahati by providing them with opportunities to explore and develop their talents in sports, music, narrative and performing arts.
The U.S. Embassy on Thursday, October 28, 2010, donated 400 text books and sports gear from the American People to the Baba wa Watoto Centee for Children and Youth centre. The Center aims at empowering vulnerable children and youth from poor neighborhoods of Manzese, Mabibo and Mburahati by providing them with opportunities to explore and develop their talents in sports, music, narrative and performing arts.
