President Dr.Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete with YARA Fertilizer Company Chief Executive Officer Jorgen Ole Haslestad cut a ribbon to signal the launch of a USD 20million fertilizer terminal by the Dar es Salaam port this afternoon. YARA is global fertilizer company with its headquarters in Norway and the new Dar es Salaam terminal will have a revolving storage capacity of 45,000 tons of fertilizer.
President Dr.Jakaya Mrisho kikwete with YARA CEO Jorgen Haslestad pour a fertilizer produced by YARA company into a newly planted Mango seedling during a ceremony to launch a USD 20million fertilizer terminal near Dar es Salaam port this afternoon. YARA has been a partner in the Tanzania agriculture since 2006 and was also instrumental to the process leading to the Southern Agricultural Growth Corridor of Tanzania(SAGCOT)
