Tunataka Mdahalo wa pro-China vs anti-China

Huko nyuma niliwahi kuomba mdahalo na Bwana John Mashaka juu ya maswala mbalimbali ya chumi wa nchi yetu na dunia kwa ujumla na kuna mdau huko Alabama alijitolea kututafutia nafasi chuoni anaposoma lakini Bwana Mashaka aligomakushiriki.
Naye Dr. US Blogger ameomba sana mdahalo na Bwana Mashakana hakujibiwa.
Hivi karibuni nimesoma hoja za Bwana J. Mashaka kuwachafua na kuwashambulia wa China na hoja na Bwana H. Saudin ya kuwasafisha wa China. Ninaandika kuwashauri hawa watu wawili waingie katika mdahalo wa redio.
Huko nyuma Bongo radio walionesha dhamira ya kukubali kuratibu mdahalo, ni matumaini yangu watakuwa tayari kufanya hivyo ili wa Tanzania tunaopenda midahalo na majadiliano tufaidike.
Mdahalo pia utaweza kuwapa nafasi wadau wapande hizi mbili na wao kutoa michangoyao yahoja katika kuwachafua ama kuwasafisha wa China ili tuone kama chimbuko la kero za wa Tanzania ni Wa China amaWa Bongo wenyewe.

ReplyDeleteThis young man Yohna Mashaka never stops to amaze me. He is always very irrational towards Chinese and other investors who have been our greatest supporters and friends. Yohanna Mashaka is using scare tactic, his rhetorical might, persuasive ability and English command to mobilize the young in this country to see foreigners as a future problem.
Why cant he see Americans as a problem while they are bombing Libyans? He sees somolanians as a problem, Kenyans as a problem, and even South Africans as aproblem. Allow me to call him with is own name self proclaimed “fake prophet” he is trying to prophesize what many people already know. Unfortunately this is not the fact. Tanzania has vast land that will not be utilized in this century
Mashaka is trying to lure people into believeing that, by selling our land somehow we are going to suffer greatly. The truth of the matter is, our Prime Minister Mizengo Pinda (mtoto wa mkulima) told us that, “Tanzania ina ardhi kubwa sana, kwa hiyo tusiogope wageni kumaliza ardhi yetu” that said, I don’t know why Mashaka is trying to mobilize the country to see land selling as a problem?
By welcoming these foreign investors to invest in our land, we are going to have food sufficiency, jobs; government revenue will increase and above all contribute into our export which is currently lagging behind. These investors have really developed our hotels and tourism sector. Without Barrick, our ining sector would still be one of the least developed
As economist, Mashaka should realize that, without opening our resources, there is no way we can develop as a nation. We must opne our mines, natural gas sources to exploration so that we can use revenue to run our hospital, schools, and build our infrastructure. His skepticism goes to the hedge. He is part of the problem not the solution.
What Mashaka is not disclosing to the public is that, they are the architectures of some of the deals that have now plunged the world in this economic. Mashaka worls for Wells Fargo- formely Wachovia and their job involves squeezing poor countries into submission by putting their natural resources in order to get loans. So who is the problem here? Does he want the same for Tanzania? No Mashaka NO. Economist like Hassan Saudin is looking at you with a keen eye. Let the Chinese come and help us.
They have helped the country for so long, without them, no TAZARA, no NATIONAL stadium. We would not even have a national TV. He thinks he so brilliant and everybody shoud warship him and call him genius. He wants to be an Mbunge or a president one day, but I say with his followers, he can only become a pastor of a cult which he already is with his so many followers. He cannot become even a mjumbe of nyumba kumi. If he becomes a president, then I am moving to Somalia. Mr Nabii stop sending missiles from the US. I have asked Nabii yohana Mashaka to come openly in the public and debate these issues, if he is truly a patriot and a nationalist he claims to be. I am ready to pay him $2.5million dollars, air ticket and hotel accommodation so we can square off in TBC-1 or ITV at my own expense. Mashaka is not someone to trust because he is scared of me. Mashaka is even scared of Hassan Saudin who is a world class Financial Expert and economist. Hassan is constantly offering alternative thinking which Mashaka does not have. He is very rigid and pretending to be a genius Tanzania has never produced. I have been advising Mugabe for more than 7 years, and you can see the economy is taking a turn around. What has Mashaka done? Nothing. Mashaka am sure you are going to read this message, repond so we can make arrangements for a debate in TBC-1 or ITV on this land issue, and stop demonizing our Chinese business partners

ReplyDeleteTanzania and Africa as a whole have the right to decide which countries they can and should cooperate with. Most of Africa attained political "independence" about 50 years ago. However, our former masters (Europe and the US) have continued shackling us through so-called bi-lateral cooperation and control mechanisms (e.g. IMF, World Bank, Lome IV Convention, NEPAD, etc. etc.). The level of control has been such that African countries are known to have received instructions from the West on how to vote at UN's General Assembly and Security Council. It is high time that Africa puts into practice its independence and God-given right to choose its future. In the 1960's when the West was supporting apartheid in South Africa, Europe and US refused to eliminate land-locked Zambia's dependency on Portuguese-ruled Mozambique an South Africa by refusing to assist in the construction of TAZARA. So China stepped in and build TAZARA on favourable terms, thus hastening the demise of apartheid, colonialism and minority rule in Southern Africa. Over the last 25 years trade between China, on the one hand, and Western Europe an USA, on the other, has grown in leaps and bound. Yet the same US and Europe don't want Africa to cooperate with China. Why??? Simple!!! The West knows that should Africa (with its abundance of strategic industrial minerals) start cooperating with China and other non-Western countries, then the West will lose its grip on Africa and Africa will start really developing to the detriment of the West. Sisi si watumwa tena. Hatuhitaji kuachaguliwa marafiki. Tuwachague marafiki wetu kutokana na maslahi yetu. Long live Sino-African friendship and cooperation.

ReplyDeleteI often follow the whelps of these, I assume, young Tanzanian turks. They sometimes mention, may be by accident rather than design very important and valid points.My advice to them is, if they want to be taken seriously, they need to polish their English language usage.Their limitations allow them to think that all is well, but I am sure a number of well educated Tanzanians just "see" the level of their language skills and ignore their arguments. I personally wonder whether its because they think in Swahili or in some tribal language and then write in English.Why dont they simply write in swahili.

CHINA, and the state is saving 400 million dollars to boot.I read about a 55 year old Chinese steel polisher working on the project,his name was quoted as Pan Zhongwang, he reports for work at 7am and clocks off at 11pm, seven days a week, and all that for $12 A DAY.
