Homer-I do agree with you. However, you have got to remember that there are, also, so many TZ experts around the globe, including the so-called Wabeba Box.In short Tanzanians are 'everywhere'...Xenophobia??Sorry if my comment is too rude

ReplyDeleteMr. David V,
ReplyDeleteXenophobia... I guess you went overboard and failed to consider the limitation that are met with the so called Tx expats living abroad.
I doubt the same post that this gentleman will enjoy would be allowed to be given to a TZ expat in any so called developed nations in such appointment. I challenge you to give me an example.
Secondly TZ is known for welcoming foreigners and rarely do u find Xenophobic attitudes within her population. My question was we don't have such resource within our own nation that someone has to be appointed from outside?? If we have such talents of Tz living abroad why can't we tap that talent?? The Motto should be to look at home first then outside!!!There is nothing xenophobic about that!!!
Your comments are not rude, but raises the question of your patriotism and the promotion of your country man in today's world of globalization.
I will give you an example of countries that look out for their own when it comes to employment.. have a look at the GCC countries and you will understand! :)
I guess you are okay even with the ideas of having foreigners overtaking our people even in the small sectors of the economy such as selling flowers!
Kubuni vitu vipya na kuanzisha viwanda kama watanzania ndio jukumu letu, tusitazame kuajiriwa. Ujuzi tunao. Mindset tu.
