As the gathering of Europe’s elite footballing nations to contest the 14th edition of the UEFA European Football Championships draws nearer, Africa’s premier sports broadcaster, SuperSport, is busy preparing to roll out two 24-hour channels dedicated to the championships.

SuperSport will broadcast all 31 games of Euro 2012 across Sub-Saharan Africa in English and Portuguese on SuperSport High Definition 3 and SuperSport 3, the two 24-hour channels.

Netherlands’ Euro 1980 captain, Ruud Krol, and England’s Euro 1988 left winger, John Barnes, will form part of SuperSport’s world class analysts who include Kalusha Bwalya, Gavin Hunt, Jomo Sono, Ernst Middendorp, Daniel Amokachi and Efan Ekoku alongside resident analysts Gary Bailey, Andre Arendse Shaun Bartlett and Bradley Carnell.

The proven tactical acumen of the panel of specialists will also be used on Master Plan, a show dedicated to understanding the tactics to be employed by the 16 competing nations in their quest for glory.

There’s also a second magazine show, Euro Zone, a round table debate that will allow Euro super fans with close ties to the participating nations, like former England striker Terry Paine and others, the opportunity to discuss, cheer and vent at the perfomances of the nations they are affiliated to.

Through social media platforms viewers will also get their opportunity on Euro Zone to engage with regard to the perfomances of their team of choice.

    Salamu ndugu wote, hii inaonyesha jinsi miundo mbinu inavyo zidi kupanuka nyumbani, lakini ikiwa tunasubiri kwa hamu ndinga ya ulaya itayofanyika Poland na Ukrain lakini ni wajibu wa wanahabari kujulisha umma sio tu kabumbu lakini pia utamaduni wa hizi nchi. Wale wanaotaka kuona mtazamo wa hawa wenyeji basi waangalie BBC iplayer "The ground of hate" ni wakati kwa jamii ya waafrika kuelewa yale yanoyotokea kwa ndugu zetu wanaocheza soka nchi hizi za ulaya ya mashariki. Ankal natumai utadumisha utandawazi wa kuelimisha jamii na kama hujaipata vizuri hii mada BBC panorama juu ya Euro championship inafafanua zaidi.
