FACE OF TANZANIA IN THE MAKING
Face of Tanzania modeling competition, that is set to be launched in the very near future, will be the biggest annual reality TV model search competition that has ever happened in Tanzania.
It will scout for aspiring models in different regions of the country, and select 16 semi finalists who will stay in a model camp for one month. During which they will be tried and tested with model related activities that will lead to a public elimination of 2 girls every week. In the end 10 girls will remain and vie for the title at the grand finale that will be graced with international fashion spectacles and designers.
The Face of Tanzania model camp will be filled with exciting activities. The girls will be taken to the Ngorongoro Crater for a 3 days thrilling tour experience that will include a spectacular photo shoot in the crater.
The theme will support a vital aspect of a young girl’s life, and that is self awareness. We believe that if a young woman is self aware of who she is, what greatness she is capable of and how much she can be in control of her life, she will take initiatives to self develop herself, be cautious of diseases especially HIV/AIDS and other sexual transmitted diseases, steer clear of unplanned pregnancies and instead work towards ambitions that will not only develop and benefit her but also the nation in general.
The 10 finalists will fly to Johannesburg in the Gauteng province in South Africa for a 3 days real life experience of how an international model survives.Not forgetting the real life drama that will spark from the reality of having 16 girls competing for one big title ON TV! This will definitely be the launch of our very own supermodel!
REGIONS TO BE COVERED ARE ARUSHA, MWANZA, KIGOMA, DODOMA, DAR ES SALAAM, MTWARA & MOROGORO.
The Face of Tanzania winner will receive a one year modeling contract with The O model Africa agency based in Joburg SA owned by international supermodel OLUCHI and producer Jan Malan.

It makes it Hard kwa wanaoanza tu come up with a brand new idea. We angalia hizi Courts Shows( you have Jurge Judy,Mathis,na wengine wengi).Kwa hiyo for anything watafanya kitakuwa what you refer as MONOTONOUS.Labda unge-suggest waweke vionjo vya kibongo bongo but still the general idea will remein to be the same! Not sure kama hii mada bado iko wazi...lakini jamani I totally agree na hio issue ya kuchagua face of Tanzania mwenye proportions zisizo za kiafrica. Jamani what are you saying? Kwamba huwezi kua mrembo kama hips zimezidi size hio? Hizo ni standard za westerners, na sisi tunakimbilia tu kuiga. Why cant we show the world kuwa na sisi tunajivunia kuwa waafrica jamani? Hebu na mie niache story niende nikajinyime chakula nipate kupunguza hips zangu 4o"!!
