hahaha which kids have regular access to the Internet in bongo!? They should try and get Internet access for the children first.
ReplyDeletemdau wa kwanza im with u!! kazzz kweli kweli! the theme should have been
ReplyDelete1. Improving government websites, making them more interactive and helpful to tanzanians that need information on various matters that various ministries deal with! Sio sites that look like zimetengenezwa by a 6 yr old and lack the security and respect to be called a govt institution website.
2. Increasing ICT awareness mikoani from secondary school level to Universities (sio UDSM tuu). Making sure all secondary schools have an IT Class from form 1 to 6 and not less than 100 computers available, operational and fully connected to the internet 24/7.
ndo viongozi wetu hao!!
UNfortnately you wrong, as that theme isn't just for Tanzania. The event is called "World Telecommunication and Information Society Day (WTISD) event".
ReplyDeleteThen clearly they are wasting their time and our tax payers money! why would they attend meetings with themes that don't relate to the economical and technological realities of our country??
ReplyDeletewhaaaaaaaaaat!!
ReplyDeleteare they really serious?protecting who from who/which
shameful matumbo
The full title of the event is actually:
ReplyDelete"Focusing on Protecting Children against Unlawful Activities or Practices in Cyberspace as a Means of Offering them more Opportunities and better Choice of Options from their Future"
I think Tanzanian children could surely use those opportunities and choice of options. And the DG of TCRA is quoted in The Citizen as saying "the challenges generated by the technological innovation itself pose questions both at the national level and across borders", so Tanzania cannot remain isolated from those dealing with those challenges, even though the percent of child users is small for now.

Mkutano wa ICT unaonekana kama wa Chama!!
ReplyDeleteWatu wenyewe hawatii hata imani.
izo sura sasa!!!
nahisi kuhama nchi
haki ya nani
