How to be resourceful in Modern Tanzania
By Diaspora writer
I have followed the debates on the jamii blog and i thought some of the schools of thought put forward about the root causes of the poor life of Tanzanian all heaped the root of Tanzania’s problems on the governments .I am not trying to discredit them , but its my view that they sholud try and give some solutions sometimes other than playing a blame game always.
Most of the writers like Dr shayo and Mr Mashaka seem to suggest that all the country’s problems lies with the running party.Have they seen the Tanzania vision 2025 which partly says that a Tanzanian who is born today will be fully grown up, will have joined the working population and will probably be a young parent by the year 2025.
Similarly, a Tanzanian who has just joined the labour force will be preparing to retire by the year 2025. What kind of society will have been created by such Tanzanians in the year 2025? What is envisioned is that the society these Tanzanians will be living in by then will be a substantially developed one with a high quality livelihood.
Abject poverty will be a thing of the past. In other words, it is envisioned that Tanzanians will have graduated from a least developed country to a middle income country by the year 2025 with a high level of human development.
The economy will have been transformed from a low productivity agricultural economy to a semi-industrialized one led by modernized and highly productive agricultural activities which are effectively integrated and buttressed by supportive industrial and service activities in the rural and urban areas.
A solid foundation for a competitive and dynamic economy with high productivity will have been laid. Consistent with this vision, Tanzania of 2025 should be a nation imbued with five main attributes; ·
*High quality livelihood
* Peace, stability and unity
* Good governance
* A well educated and learning society
*A competitive economy capable of producing sustainable growth and shared benefits.
What else do they want the government to do?
Why cant these guys wait till 2025 then start critising?.
Most of these guys live abroad at their own will, and nobody dragged them back to Tanzania. Then why do they want to think for the majority of Tanzanians who think everything is fine?
They are even going to vote in the current government back with a landslide victory (Kwa kishindo)
Any way, as part of my re search for the root causes of Tanzania’s poverty and ways for its reduction i thought that I should follow a different path even though its a controversial one.
For example have Tanzanians ever thought about how to make money for them selves by selling their own bodies?
Of course, I know I am going to take a lot of heat on this because people might try to relate this topic to the tragedy that has befallen to our dear ones from the albino community who are being hunted down and hacked to death to satisfy a growing demand for their body parts and blood to use in black magic .
I totally condemn this kadili /katenda kapya ka watanzania wenzangu kako hivi:
Lets look at sperms:
In Romania, its legal to pay for sperms .Some clinics are offering as much as £35 per donation. This is in a city called Timisoara. In the US alone a sperm donor can earn $40- £120 per donation as long as he is not mentally ill , drug taking, without sexually Transmitted deases, family history of cancer. In Tamisosoara , sperm business is so good that around 100 car workers at a factory in Campulung have promised to sell sperm to a fertility clinic to try and reduce their company ‘s debt.
What about eggs:
In India a donor egg can fetch as much as £500 -£7000 depending on how ethical the clinic is , and how educated the donor is .In Britain , British women donors are expected to receive a fee equating to the IVF treatment cycle which is around £ 3,000.This is according to the Human fertilisation and embryology authority
Then comes bone marrow:
A handful of cancer research institutions pay for bone marrow and white blood cells in the US.It wa reported that in 2005 that a Californian medical centre was paying local students $200 for 50cc of bone marrow, while for a four day procedure to remove blood cells , it paid $700
The cost of Kidneys:
A few weeks ago it was reported in the media that a Jewish syndicate in New jersey who are now under investigation , told an undercover FBI agent that the going price for a kidney is $150,000
How about Breast Milk?:
Even though mothers in the west are know to donate their breast milk or colostrums to their local neonatal units , however its not unknown for mothers to sell their milk in local classified ads or on line
The hair:
Banbury Postiche(wigs UK) pays as much as £3 an ounce if your hair is 6-12 inches long and £5 an ounce if it is more that 12 inches long. All you need is to type “sell your body for cash” into an internet search engine .
REMEMBER its not for the faint hearted

Kwanza vibaka ndo usiseme kabisa watu watakuwa wanafanya maovu mengi, sitaki hata kuorodhesha, hii topic mimi naona haifai.

You knew that you have brought a topic which is in one way or another leaves a bitter taste and still you decided to bring it up, the question is why?

It is sad that we have to depend upon selling our own body parts in order to generate income? what is the point of living?

I know that, it is ok if let say you donate an organ for the sick. But once you start putting the price on it, thats is when the problem starts.

    subiria waosha vinywa, wanakuja

Labda tu ungetuambia wewe binafsi ushauza figo lako? vipi mbegu??

  9. I can't believe huu ndio mtazamo na ushauri juu ya jinsi tunavyoweza kuendeleza nchi yetu. Yaani najisikia kukutukana!

You really believe in the next 15 years hizo ahadi zitatimia?

Africa and Tanzania in particular is very rich in Natural resources such as water, mountains, mines, agricultural etc... people need to start thinking outside box and explore their god given resources for their benefit and country in general and not to have shallow minded and start selling their body parts… please!!

Unasema tusubiri 2025 ndio tuikosoe serikali.

Sasa hivi tunashuhudia tu watu kugombania madaraka ili waendeleze uhuni...

  16. you began as a human but you end up as an animal! do you know what you are talking about?do you know how much does it cost for a person do donate his body part for serving somebody's life?this is ethical and moral thing, if you have nothing to talk before the society you better keep silent you will create an impression to others that you are a wise man than blasting with such none sense and look a fool.
we all like serving life and we take part in it,but not in this way. by the way you should know that not everything done in west is gold. i personaly challenge the idea of sperm donation. let me not waste my time with you here because to have determined already your destiny!then go and act porn because you seem to be doing it already!
