Motorcades, bodyguards and security detail are tight at the Mount Meru Hotel in Tanzania as East African Countries’ government delegates attend a conference themed “A decade of service towards a political federation”. On stage at the moment presenting the “Vision for East African Countries: Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow” is H.E Daniel T Arap Moi former President of Kenya, H.E Al-Hajji Ali Hassan Mwinyi former President of the United Republic of Tanzania and Rt. Hon. Amama Mbabazi, Prime Minister of the Republic of Uganda.
After this session, delegates will enjoy lunch at the Mount Meru Hotel after which the conference will continue at the hotel with keynote speaker Hon. Amanya Mushega, Former Secretary General of the EAC, will address delegates about “Catalysing the EAC Integration Process: A recipe for realization of the Political Federation”.
This evening, conference goers will enjoy a wonderfully festive Dinner and East African Cultural Evening at the Mount Meru Hotel.
