Dr. Fanuel Isaac Maro

2nd December 1933 – 7th January 2012
God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be. So he put his arms around you and whispered “Come to me”. With tearful eyes we watched you and saw you pass away at the Regency Medical Center on 7th January 2012 and laid to final rest on 11th January 2012 in Old Moshi Tella. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best too soon.

We the family of the Late Dr. Fanuel Maro wishes to express our sincere gratitude to all our neighbors, relatives, friends and well wishers who surrounded us with love and care during his illness and  period of bereavement.

Special thanks to the Azania Front Lutheran Church who offered spiritual services during his illness and the funeral mass in Dar es Salaam, various small religious communities who conducted various prayer sessions during his illness and the Old Moshi Tella Lutheran Church for the final funeral mass.

We have been deeply touched by all of you who have extended to us immeasurable support
materially, financially, sent messages of condolences, cards,  words of encouragement and comfort, phone-calls, sms, emails, flowers, continuous visits, hugs, tears, sang hymns, participated in his send off both in Dar es Salaam and  Old Moshi and ultimately to his final resting place.

Your acts of kindness and generosity made our burden more bearable.

Since we may not be able to mention each one of you by name, we solemnly request each one of you to accept this appreciation note as our humble expression of deep gratitude and special recognition. May God bless you all!

Baba, in God’s hands you rest, in our hearts you will live forever!

May the lord rest you in Eternal Peace, Amen!
