Dear Tanzanians and Friends,
On behalf of the family of Adella Mwakasekele of Brooklyn, New York, I
am deeply saddened to announce the death of Adella’s father, Mzee
Akagwile Peter Mwakasekele of Kyela, Mbeya, Tanzania who passed away at a
hospital in Mbeya on Wednesday, September 26, 2012. Mzee Mwakasekele
died out of complication of stomach ulcers (vidonda vya tumboni).
Mzee Mwakasekele was laid to rest on Friday, September 28, 2012 in Kyela, Mbeya, Tanzania.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mzee Mwakasekele is scheduled for Sunday October 7, 2012. It will be held at:
4 River Road Roosevelt Island, New York 10044
The memorial service will start at 2pm to 6pm. The service will be led by Pastor Mama Butiku.
