The family of Rev. Martin Urasa of Machame Nkuu would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to relatives, friends, neighbors and well-wishers who joined us throughout the difficult moment of nursing and later bereavement of our beloved dad, teacher, grandfather and pastor, Rev. Martin Urasa who passed away on 4th September 2013 at KCMC Referral Hospital and was laid to rest at Machame Nkuu on 10th September 2013. 

The family sincerely appreciates your spiritual, moral and material support extended to us during our difficult moments. Specifically, the family would like to extend special appreciation to the following:

Bishop Dr. Martin Shao and Bishop Dr. Erasto Kweka; Rev. Dr. Fredrick Shoo, Assistant to the Bishop, and Mr. Julius Mosi of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania, Northern Diocese, Rev. Aminirabi Swai and Rev. Okuly Mwanga of Hai District and Nkuu Kati Parish, respectively, Dr. Reginald Mengi, Executive Chairman IPP Ltd; all parishioners of Nkuu Kati, Kimbushi, Kisereni and Nkweshoo parishes in Machame, relatives and friends of Rev. Martin Urasa’s children and all those who were with us during this time. We also wish to thank doctors and nurses of KCMC, Machame Lutheran Hosiptal and Aga Khan Hospital Arusha for their tireless efforts to save our dad’s life. 

We understand it is practically impossible to mention each of you individually for the prayers, moral and material support to the family.    

We request you to accept this note as our inner most way of saying THANK YOU as we appreciate the support extended to our family and pray that the Almighty God accept your prayers, material and moral support to the family as special offering and bless your daily undertakings.

A family thank giving mass will be held at Nkuu Kati Lutheran Church Machame on 27th October 2013 at 10.00 am service.
