As we are grieving the sudden demise of our Son/Brother/Cousin/Friend/Colleague Mr. Jerry Isaac; I would like to make it clear as the Chairperson of Tanzanian Students Association in Kenya (TASAKE) and on behalf of the entire TASAKE Interim Committee that our beloved Jerry was NOT coming from a Night Club as it is being reported in some Blogs/Social Media Platforms.

We had organized Tanzanian Night Dinner which focused on bringing Tanzanians and Friends of Tanzania in Kenya together to chart a way forward on various key issues regarding sustainable development in our Country. Jerry attended this event first of all as a Sustainable Development enthusiast (those who knew him well can attest to this), secondly as a Tanzanian who strongly Loves his Country and Lastly as our very able FACILITATOR/MASTER OF CEREMONY.

He left the Hotel (Sarova Panafric) where the event was taking place and he was heading HOME not anywhere else but unfortunately he never made it to his usual home but rather God chose for him to travel to a better Home where most of us belongs to.

Therefore, We as TASAKE would like to strongly refute and condemn that report; kindly Bloggers/Social Media Experts/Savvies as much as we are inter-dependent in disseminating Information please capitalize on thorough research, due diligence and proper verification mechanism(s)/method(s) before putting any information on the Public Domain.

In the mean time, We would like to ask TASAKE members to remain calm and keep on praying for Jerry as we are making necessary arrangements to see how all of us can participate in putting him to rest.

We express our Heartfelt Condolences to the Family of Mr&Mrs. Isaac Mruma, United States International University, Tanzania High Commision in Kenya, Tanzania Welfare Association in Kenya (TWA), Relatives/Cousins, Friends and Colleagues.

Jerry was an Industrious Young Man and a very great asset to Tanzania, East Africa, Africa and the World. We will miss him dearly and he lives in our Hearts forever.

Rest in Peace Comrade.
