Fresh from a combo 18 hour flight from West Africa, Zuriel was a special guest last night at an Education event hosted by former First Lady of the United Kingdom - Sarah Brown.
Held at the British Consul Generals residence in Los Angeles, where Prince William and Princess Kate resided a few months ago for their US visit, the "Their World" and "Up for School" initiative is part of efforts to meet the UN's 2015 Millennium Development Goals. It is a bold program with broad support, to ensure education for the underprivileged around the world.
Zuriel was formally welcomed by Mrs Sarah Brown, who commended her for lending her "Small Steel Voice" last year to the children's Education project led by her foundation - A World At School. [see www.aworldatschool.org].
The youngest person invited to the high profile British event, others at the glitzy get together who met Zuriel included former CNN Anchor and Americas Got Talent host - Pierce Morgan, and acclaimed US Actress - Geena Davies. Singer Rod Stewart and other British celebrities in LA attended the event too.
