DIDN'T I say so? Didn't I say that we, the people of Bongo, are being had by some con-men masquerading as businessmen based in the US? Well, it is so! 'Wanatufanya mafala!'
Now some guy from the frankly fake company called Richmond Development Corporation, registered in Mars, claims that the gas required for its second-hand turbines is contaminated with impurities.
Give us one, big break! The con-men continue that they failed to marry the two systems, the national grid and theirs due to gas problems, Cool. I would be damned if that was not goal-shifting.
Next they will say that they could not produce electricity because the US invasion of Iraq has affected their generation of power.
What next? They will call a press conference and say that they failed to provide power because the Almighty God does not love them.
Con-men can say anything to keep their heads above water. The Almighty is taking sides, they will say, favouring Songas and Aggreko who get great gas.
I told you that the Richmond deal did not sound right from the start. There were so many inconsistencies. Once banks did not nod to their deal, I knew we, the people of the United Republic of Bongo, are being conned.
PanAfrican Energy are supplying energy to 15 other industries with no problems. But only one group of con-men calling themselves Richmond comes in with junk equipment and screams that the gas is contaminated.
Of course the Richmond junk cannot use our gas. It is old scrap! But, wait a minute -- who are the politicians who signed that deal with these con-men? Why were the cons very keen to get the 30 million dollars from the Treasury to get the trash?
They simply could land the money and disappear. They could simply have pocketed the money and vanished. It is easy to turn into thin air when you have 30 million USD in your pocket.
Minister of Energy and Minerals Naz Karamagi said the Richmond rubbish would feed the national grid "anytime". He was dead right. It could feed the national grid in the year of our Lord 1910!
Doubtlessly, there are some politicians behind this racket. I am sure, the prez, Jack Mrisho knows them. Jack should go for their necks.
One thing I can't understand about our beloved country. If we get armed robbers, they are given 30 years in the lam. If they resist, the police 'pacify' them to death.
But Bongo still praises un-armed robbers who inflict far more losses to the nation. They become the toast of town. We still look favourably to mediocrity and incompetence. Thieves using their pens and offices are highly respected in Bongoland. Fraudsters parading among us with forged certificates are glorified, instead of being sent to jail.
I hope Jack is looking into the deal? This time heads must roll and that must be heard loud and clear. It is very irksome for a few to think the rest of us Tanzanians are a bunch of nincompoops. Fools. 'Wanatufanya sisi mibwege?'

Dorah tulipokuwa naye huko TZ enzi hizo yeye alikuwa akipenda kutoka na wale MARINES. Ni skiny kama huyu shangazi yake Rita wa hapa Kempinski, ila Dorah yeye ni Mrefu, na sio wewe tu aliyekuwa akikukandia Michuzi huyu dada ana nyodo kwani hapa Marekani alikuwa akiwakandia hata ndugu zake hususani huyu Rita, na Rose hata Mama yake mzazi kwa hiyo ni binadamu wa ajabu kidogo. Alisema aliwahi kukuona wewe Ujerumani zamani na ulikuwa umelost sasa akashangaa inakuwaje mtu lofa kama wewe unaitwa Mheshimiwa na pia ni journalist maarufu. hasa inakuwaje umeweza kupata nafasi kwenye Google ambayo ni World Wide Web? So watch out for this changu. inawezekana akawepo kwenye huo umati hapo juu.
