The Embassy of Tanzania in Stockholm in cooperation with members of the International Club of Stockholm (ICS) organised a fund raising event in support of building a Hospital in Arusha.

The hospital is being built by SWETAN of Sweden (www.swetan.se) and Mama Lokii Trust of Arusha at Lokii village. The event took place recently in Stockholm.

The Charge D' Affaires of the Embassy of Tanzania Ms. Victoria Mwakasege and a Representative of the International Club of Stockholm's Chairperson, Ms. Astrid Nordenstam were guests of honour to the event.

Guests tasted the Tanzania Cuisine, Tanzanian fashion show, participated in buying/selling items from Tanzania and danced to the tunes of Afrojam Band and Ms. Nuru Magram who performance during the fund raising evening.
