THE LATE MERCY PATIENCE KAZI MAGANGA

DIED 03 DECEMBER 1996

Dear Mum, It’s been 13 years already and yet it feels like yesterday when you spilled into that eternal sleep. Things are not the same anymore…..It’s not easy to keep going. A lot has happened & changed…..Sister Nelly has become our mother a sister and a close friend at the same time.. your daughter Susan can’t stop wishing you were here to see her Awarded Bachelor Degree of Science in Technical Management (Magna Cum Laude) this December, you have 4 grandchildren who will just grow to hear about grandma… your wish for us to become stronger person has come to pass… you must be the proudest Mum !

We are trying so hard to be strong enough to carry on as you would expect us to. You have made Sister Nelly the strongest pillar ever…she carries your torch for us.

God looked around His garden on that fateful day, and He saw an empty place. He then looked down upon the earth and saw your peaceful sleep. He put his arms around you and He lifted you to rest. God’s garden must be beautiful, He always takes the best. He knew that you were having heart attack and wanted you to die peaceful on your sleep without going through any pain. He knew that you would never see the morning again. He saw the road was getting rough; the hills were hard to climb. So he closed your weary eyes and whispered, “Peace Be Thine”.

It broke our hearts to loose both parents, but you did not go alone, for part of us went with you the day God called you home.

Mum to the world you were just one; to us you were our world. We are at peace knowing that you are watching over us. May your soul remain blessed… we will always celebrate your life. We love you so much Mama.

Fondly remembered by your loving children Nelly, Gerald, Louisa, Alice, Susan and Andrew, son in-laws Pascal, Rikard & Peter, grand children Jadden, Nelly Jr, Andrew Jr, Simon, and friends.

Rest in Peace Mama.
