At the Africa & Middle East Regional meeting of the 65th Conference of the International Federation of Air Line Pilots (IFALPA) held in Marrakech Capt Arif Jinnah of Tanzania was re-elected as the Federation’s Regional Vice President Africa East.
Capt. Jinnah’s responsibilities include Kenya, Burundi, Djibouti, Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, Seychelles, Somalia, Uganda, United Republic of Tanzania and the overwater airspace of the Addis Ababa, Dar Es Salaam, Mogadishu and Nairobi FIRs. Capt. Jinnah was first elected to this role in 2008 and his new term of office runs until the 67th Conference which will be held in Paris in the spring of 2012.
Pilot’s from Kenya Airways (KALPA) and Ethiopian Airlines (ETALPA) , Air Tanzania (TPA) are all represented by Capt Arif Jinnah, in different issues and meetings worldwide.
Capt Arif Jinnah, Captain with Air Tanzania for 23 years now, is also Secretary General for Tanzania Pilot’s Association and newly formed Tanzania Pilot’s Union.

The mission of IFALPA is to be the global voice of airline pilots, promoting the highest level of aviation safety and security world-wide and providing services, support and representation to all of its Member Associations.

Haya ndo mambo tunataka, sio mashindano ya kucheza sijui nini, watu kama hawa ndo wanatakiwa wawekwe hadharani ili vijana waweze kupata changamoto, sio kuwafanya kuwaza Bongo Star Search, Miss Tanzania na ujinga ujinga mwengine unaoendelea na baada tu ya kupata umaarufu kunuka wakienda muziki wanapiga picha na kuweka vidole bila hata kujua maana yake na chupa kuuubwaa ya bia na nyinyi kina michuzi mnawatoa kwenye Blog zenu, hii mnaharibu vijana sana, ila kwa hili la Capt ungetuwekea masnepu kibao mtu mzima anakata anga. ReplyDeleteHuyu Captain, alinifurahisha sana tulipotoka naye hapa Dar hadi Kampala...oooh ndege ilikuwa kwenye mikono ya uhakika kwa jinsi alivyoyakata mawingu bila mtikisiko wowote. Siku ya kurudi kupita KIA na ZNZ alikuwa ni yeye pia oooh tulipofika Dar ilinibidi nimwombe nipige naye picha...bila hiyana akanikubalia..tukapiga picha na cockpit ikionekana. Siku ile "flying was funny". Alinirudishia ndoto zangu za kuwa pilot tena!

Bila shaka utawafundisha vijana wengi wa Kitanzania wajue kuwa wataalam kama wewe.

Hongera sana Mtanzania mwenzangu,Ila sasa serikali imekuwa na usha mba mkubwa sana kwani kutoka Nchi za Ulaya kuja nyumbani ndege ni chache sana,Je swala hili mnalifikiria.Kwani toka huku mpaka Kenya ikiwa ni 600$ basi Mpka Tanzania inakuwa 800-1000$.Nitashukuru sana endapo na Tanzania itaunganishwa katika swala zima la usafiri anga.
