The repair work on the SEA-ME-WE 4 cable was completed successfully overnight and all customers, including SEACOM, were migrated and reconfigured by SEA-ME-WE 4 early this morning.
SEACOM customers are already restored and traffic for all SEACOM customers was fully restored on the SEA - ME - WE 4 cable by mid-morning GMT.

ReplyDeleteBut It is a lesson that we should never rely only on Seacom otherwise we will always be down.
It is amazing on how people trusted SEACOM to this extent and they never even thought of having a backup link to a different provider.
Government, Public and Private institutions, this is a lesson, take note, have a backup plan.
