Tanzania Tourist Board (TTB) officials led by H.E Peter Kallaghe Tanzania High Commissioner in the UK attended a presentation from Sports Five and Lantec services a leading UK football advertising and sponsorship company .
Tanzania Tourist Board (TTB) officials led by H.E Peter Kallaghe Tanzania High Commissioner in the UK attended a presentation from Sports Five and Lantec services a leading UK football advertising and sponsorship company .
TTB has already purchased a 6 English Premier League club perimeter advertisement package .This package includes a 3 minutes LED exposure at the Newcastle, Blackburn Rovers, Sunderland, Stoke City, West Bromwich Albion, and Wolver Hampton Wanders.
Through this deal , Tanzania Tourism in conjunction with the English premiership which reaches over 500 million homes and broadcast over 211 territories worldwide, TTB will have to enjoy over 100,000 hours of transmitted coverage per season.
Other advantages include TTB services reaching the 1.18 million SKY sports viewers per broadcast and BBC’s 6.53 million match of the day viewers.
The Tanzania team was led by Dr Nzuki the Managing Director of TTB ,accompanied by Johnston Manase –Manager Tourism services., Ezekiel Dembe ,Planning Manager -Tanzania national Parks .
Sportfive was represented by Carl Woodman-Senior director and Jonathan Webster- the commercial Director.As for Lantech services who put all this deal together was represented by Directors Moses Mwangi and Edmund Hazal

ReplyDeleteInawezekana ni move nzuri kujaribu kutangaza utalii kupitia michezo hasa soccer lakini concern yangu ni je,uamuzi wa kutumia michezo huko backed up na taarifa zozote za msingi?Maana isije ikawa watu 100,000 wanaobahatika kuona hayo matangazo yetu wakawa sio potential tourists...nafikiri lazima ku-establish market niche...yaani kujua ni kwa kawaida ni aina gani ya wageni tunapokea na jitihada ziende katika ku-promote utalii katika upande ambao unaweza kuwa na manufaa zaidi na si kutangaza tu for the sake of kutangaza!
ReplyDeleteNafikiri Tanzania tumesahau kabisa katika power of Internet.Hata tovuti zetu za biashara ya utalii yaani kuanzia ile ya TANAPA kwa mfano ni very basic...ni maelezo tu na picha...tunahitaji kuwa more creative katika kuangalia ni namna gani tunatumia vizuri teknolojia katika mtandao maana kwa sasa nadhani Internet imekuwa ni chomo chenye nguvu zaidi katika kuunganisha watu duniani.
