SuperSport viewers are set for a treat with all 49 ICC Cricket World Cup matches to be broadcast live on the World of Champions.

SuperSport will be giving the tournament unprecedented coverage, with a daily show, plus highlights and match repeats. Moreover, select matches will be broadcast in High Definition.

As an endorsement of SuperSport’s cricket coverage, both Pommie Mbangwa and Robin Jackman have been included in the world commentary team.

While Kepler Wessels and Shaun Pollock were also invited, both opted instead to work for SuperSport. They join an illustrious team of analysts that includes Paul Adams, HD Ackerman, Ashwell Prince, Makhaya Ntini, Alviro Petersen, Neil McKenzie, Victor Mpitsang, Jeremy Fredericks, Shafiek Abrahams, Mluleki Nkala (Zimbabwe) and Kenyan roving reporter Kennedy Otieno.

Between them they have earned 813 ODI Caps, scored 10 446 ODI runs, picked up 703 ODI wickets and nabbed 270 catches.

Mike Haysman will be travelling from his base in the US to host the bulk of the SuperSport studio discussions.

In addition to the tournament coverage, SuperSport will have three reporting teams with one each in India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

SuperSport will also broadcast the forthcoming World Cup warmup:
Wednesday, February 16: India vs New Zealand (SS6, 10.45am-7pm CAT).
