Professor Samuel Stephen Mushi
24th December, 1939 – 23rd July, 2011

The family of the Late Professor Samuel Stephen Mushi, would like to thank the Almighty God for the life of our beloved father Professor Samuel Mushi, who passed away on Saturday 23rd July 2011 at Muhimbili National Hospital in Dar-es-Salaam, and laid to rest at his farm at Bunju B in Dar-es-Salaam on 27th July 2011.

May our sincere heartfelt gratitude go to the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Vice President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Former President Benjamin William Mkapa, Former Prime Minister Frederick Sumaye, First Lady Mama Salma Kikwete, Staff of Muhimbili National Hospital and Mikocheni Hospital, Pastors and Evangelists of Msasani Lutheran church, Chancelor, Vice Chancellor, staff and students of the department of Political Science and Public Administration and all the staff of the University of Dar-es-Salaam, Dar-es-Salaam Prime High School, Msasani, and Magomeni Choirs, Media houses, family and friends for their moral support, sympathy, love and encouragement as we went through this time of grief.
We also thank everyone who fully participated and consoled us and rest assured GOD will grace your kindness and love.

Solely you will be missed by your wife Felister; your children Ukundi, Anande, Susan and Charles ;In laws; grandchildren; family, friends and all others you touched their lives at social and academic world. Your humility, passion, love and humanity will be cherished and live for ever.

May Almighty God rest his soul in eternal peace.
