The Late Harry Michael
Harry Michel who was the first Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Geita Gold Mine from 1998 to 2002 passed away on 17th November 2011 at the Royal Perth Hospital in Australia. Harry had a Cerebral Hypoxia and this was caused from the Aortic Dissection which caused his heart attack on Monday 14th , leading to his death the following Thursday 17th November. He has left behind his wife Melinda and young sons Christopher and Benjamin.


Former colleagues, friends, members of Mining fraternity and well wishers who worked with Harry or in some ways were influenced by his management and leadership have wished to honour and celebrate, though a short lived, but truly a great life of HARRY MICHAEL. 


Therefore, there will be a special remembrance service in DAR ES SALAAM at the GREEK ORTHODOX CHURCH, located in the City Centre along Ali Hassan Mwinyi Road next to the Red Cross Bus (Dala dala) Stop, on Saturday 3rd December at 3:pm and anyone is welcome.
