In reference to the above heading, I am honoured to introduce our NGO and cause to your organization.Barwany Albinism Development Trust Fund (BADEF) is registered under the Registration, Insolvency, and Trusteeship Agency (RITA) under the Reg. Number 4266.
BADEF is a not for profit organization that deals with the welfare issues of persons with albinism in Tanzania.
BADEF headed by Hon. Salum Khalfan Barwany, Member of Parliament representing the Lindi Constituency’s mission is to ensure that all barriers, limitations and obstacles against persons with albinism that hinder their total inclusion in the mainstream of society are empirically studied and publicized so as to attract structural, behavioral, practical and moral positive change.
BADEF aims to fundraise over Tshs. 500,000,000 in a fundraiser planned to take place in February 2012 to set their mission and objectives into action as stipulated in their organization profile herewith enclosed. To achieve this we plan to engage a strategic media PR campaign, Sms campaign and a variety of fundraising events to ensure that the expected funds are raised.
We are planning to launch a 3 months tailor made campaign named ‘Nifahamu’ which will include media and PR activities, starting with a media press conference on the 17th of December 2011 so as to raise awareness on the project among members of the public, dignitaries and the diaspora.
This will be followed by a media awareness campaign and culminated by a dinner gala that will also serve as the main fundraiser in February 2012.
We therefore take this opportunity to humbly request for your support for this critical cause that will bring key positive change in the development of persons with albinism in Tanzania. We request your support in;
· The publication of feature articles highlighting the plight of albinos and the BADEF initiative· The printing of information and adverts on the ‘Nifahamu’ campaign with the donation premium sms and mobile money transfer numbers

ReplyDeleteNi kweli, suala la matatizo ya Albino ni lakwetu sote, juhudi binafsi sawa lakini ziwe za kulifanya kama ni jambo binafsi mno mana inaweza kusababisha watu kujiuliza maswali mpaka hasi na kuwatoa kwenye njia sahihi ya kushiriki.
ReplyDeleteNatoa pongezi kwa mbunge huyo kwa kulifanyia kazi suala hili la Albino,kwani inasikitisha kuona maovu yanayofanywa juu yao mpaka documentary imetengenezwa na kurushwa katika TV station za kimataifa Aljazeera!ni vema kama uhamasishaji utatiliwa mkazo kwa jamii kuhusu Albino.
