Death Announcement - Mrs. Tereza Mpesha

Dear Tanzanians and Friends,

On behalf of the family of Rev. Dr. Aba & Drs. Nyambura Mpesha of Ann Arbor, Michigan and Dr. Witness and Maria Mpesha of Windsor, Ontario, Canada, I am deeply saddened to announce the sudden death of Mrs. Tereza Mpesha of Bukoba, Tanzania who passed away peacefully on Saturday April 21, 2012 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

 Mrs. Mpesha was the mother of Aba and Witness Mpesha. She was sick for few days and was treated in Dar es Salaam. Mrs. Tereza Mpesha was 93 years old at the time of her death.

The good news brothers and sisters is that our late mother was in love with Jesus and she knew His voice. So for now, she has just fallen asleep waiting for the coming of Lord (1 Thessalonians 4:13). Mr. & Mrs. Mpesha (both deceased) had a divine favour and special blessing from God to have their children boys and girls who love the Lord and all devoted in the ministry of spreading the good news of Jesus.

Funeral service arrangements have been made and will be held in Bukoba, Tanzania on Saturday, April 28, 2012.

Aba, Nyambura, Witness and Maria Mpesha left on Tuesday April 24, 2012 for Tanzania for burial.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Tereza Mpesha will be held sometime in May in Portage, Michigan after the grieving family comes back from Tanzania. You will be notified when memorial service arrangements are finalized.
