The Centre is dedicated to provide a platform for knowledge sharing, information exchange and international collaboration in the areas of poverty reduction and development. Specifically, the Centre’ work is mainly focused on four key areas: research, exchange, training and cooperation.

hii ni njia nzuri ya kushare knowledge na kudumisha urafiki wa siku njingi kati ya Nchi yetu na China, kuna mambo mengi sana ambayo inabidi tukubali kujifunza kutoka kwao mana kama historia inavyonjesha walipitia kwenye wakati mgumu sana kipindi cha Mao ambacho ndiyo kipindi cha utawala wa Mwalimu, sasa ukiangalia China ya sasa sio ile ya Mao, Tanzania tunaweza kutoka kwenye umasikini ila umimi ndio umetutawala sana..sijui lini tutainuka ila ipo siku tu.
