ECOBANK TRUE TO THEIR PROMISE AS 15 MORE WINNERS EMERGE IN THE WIN BIG WITH ECOBANK CAMPAIGN

Excitement and joy was the atmosphere in the air at the Ecobank Mwenge Branch premises as the second set of winners received their prizes for emerging as winners in the 'Win Big with Ecobank' Campaign. This brings to 45 the number of customers who have won different categories of prizes in the Campaign so far.

Winners emerged from all sectors of the economy- corporate, public and NGO. This is in line with the objectives of the campaign which is to affect the lives of the Tanzanian people.

It was indeed a joyous occasion filled with felicitations and good wishes. One of the winners, Hassan Mwingila, who is a technician, said, ' I am extremely delighted’ He adds, 'Ecobank is a good bank’.  Another winner, Hance Mbilinyi,ta technician in a construction firm, short of words simply said, ‘Thank you Ecobank. I was pleasantly surprised when I got a call from my Branch Manager to say I had won a laptop or ipad.  I chose an ipad.

Lucy Shayo, a nurse with CCBRT, could not wait to redeem her Home Shopping Centre gift voucher. She was just as surprised and thankful about winning. ' I am happy about the gift voucher I won. It's a good way of encouraging people to save'. This is one of the objectives of the promotion, to encourage the saving culture among Tanzanians.

When asked what Ecobank means to her, Lucy said, ' I will definitely tell other people to open account with Ecobank for them to win something like me'.

The New CEO Tanzania, Enoch Osei Safo is satisfied with the response the bank is getting from the public. 'The purpose of the campaign is to reach out to the people in a manner that is exciting and also endearing. The response is encouraging'

 Mr Osei-Safo concluded by saying, 'The campaign is just beginning to heat up. We still have three more sets of winners to win the different categories of prizes.
