The
Embassy of Switzerland in Tanzania, Alliance Française de Dar es Salaam and
Asar Entertainment bring Swahili Hip Hop Exhibition.
This is a Non-Alcoholic, All-Ages-Event , one of
its kind to many, as it exhibits the five (5) Hip Hop elements at Alliance
Française de Dar es Salaam on the 22nd November 2012.
Various
performances from skilled local & international artists on an open mic
stage, freestyles and battles, a word of “wisdom” from well recognized
mainstream artists will be on the day.
Selling
of local / handmade merchandise like T-shirts, clothing gear in general, CDs, mix
tapes, etc. will be part of the whole event to represent “street
entrepreneurship” in an advanced way.
Hip
Hop workshops led by legendary facilitators in the Hip Hop field will be held
in the following categories: DJ workshop, Break dancing workshop, MC workshop,
Graffiti workshop and Knowledge.
