On April 20, 2013 The Green Team from U.S. Embassy Dar es Salaam joined the NGO Voice Giving to clean the Mwenge bus stand. The event included over 40 volunteers from Voice Giving and other partner organizations as well as members of the U.S. Embassy Community. Voice Giving is a Tanzanian NGO founded by seven alumni of the U.S. Bold Leaders program.
The organizations seeks to empower and encourage Tanzanians from all walks of life by making them aware of the importance of conserving the environment and their role in keeping the environment clean and safe for residents of Dar es Salaam. (Photo courtesy of the American Embassy)
Roho inaniuuma sana nikiona aina hii ya kujitolea, hasa ukizingia tia binafsi nipo huku kwa watu weupe kitambo tu, yaani picha ninayopata hapa ni kwamba wamesafiri mabara yoote kuja kusafisha kituo cha basi mwenge. Yawezekana oni langu usifurahishwe nalo ila naona wahusika wa manispaa wametudharirisha sana hapa.
ReplyDeleteWamarekani wanatupa fedha na misaada mingi, jamani pia watufanyie usafi? Ninyi viongozi mpo wapi? Hamuoni aibu....tunashindwa kutumia hata nguvu kidogo tu kufanya usafi wa mahali tunapokaa na kuishi.
