Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, East Africa, Regional and International Cooperation, Dr. Aziz Ponary Mlima (right) in discussions with the Assistant Secretary General – Political Affairs of the United Nations, Mr. Taye Brook Zerihoun who paid a courtesy visit at the Ministry recently. The two discussed the importance of enhancing cooperation between the United Nations and the Southern Africa Development Community (SADC) especially in the area of conflict prevention and resolution.
