This hotel looks so nice and seems to be of very high standard. However, i was dissapointed last year to read in one of the online local newspapers that the hotel management was treating black/indegenious workers especially of lower ranks with disrespect by threating to sack them anytime and even sometimes racially abusing them! Most manual workers were sacked at will without proper employment termination procedures being followed or adhered to. How can we be racially abused in our own country? and accept it? is it because we are too desparate to have foreign investments or our lack of awareness? It made me even angry when i heard that the person who was actually mistreating the local workforce in the marketing department was an Indian with an indian passport working without a work permit! we got wake up guys and stand for our country and rights, no one will do it for us and this is the time.....

Anony wa hapo juu, i strongly support you! Man, It is painful to be mistreated by felow human being, it is even more painful when you are abused by a foreigner in your own country. There is inferiority complex in the minds of many of our country men, so when thy see a light skinned person, they tremble before this assures them that they can take control forever and this sacks! A time has come for people to wake up and understand that there is nothing like superior race in this world. We are all th same and no body and absolutely nobody has the right to degrade any body's humanity.
ReplyDeleteI think our government should protect its people by taking strong action against any mistreatment.
I remember what happened at SEA CLIFF some few years ago when some boody body dared to slap a Tanzanian! TUAMKE JAMANI LOH!
Acheni ujinga nyie wa kulalamika bila hoja. Watanzania ni wavivu. Wakiambia unatakiwa kazini saa moja wanakuja saa moja na nusu hadi saa mbili, wakipewa warning ooh tunaonewa ondoeni ujinga fanyeni kazi kwa bidii kama unaonewa katafute kazi kwingine. Makampuni si yako mengi tu?
ReplyDeleteSasa nyie hamtaki kufanya kazi, makampuni viwanda kibao vimekufa.
Do not generalize..........nendeni shule kidogo
