ReplyDeleteOfcourse that was quit predictable. Who would not have known the end of it all??? Congratulations Mr. Kikwete, you are always on the winning side and forever shall you be!! You are a hero!! CCM Hoyeeee!!! I promise you your 10 yrs reign is going to be the simplest ever, whatever you wish will be exactly that. You are the only bright guy. I am sure you can even decide to pay 100% to each and every student. Do that combrade!! All the "debts" will be paid by the next CCM government. Keep up the spirit man...
Form three unajua nini?
Ukisha anza science hata biashara hujui tena.
Contact negotiation skills na management skills ni muhimu kwa kila mtu weather you are a marine biologist, an engineer, an achitecture or a doctor lakini tatizo letu tunaanza kuspecialized masomo tukiwa bado wadogo sana. Na tunakua mbumbumbu kwenye mambo field nyingine.
Sir Issa vipi Mzee...naona jamaa hao...MUAFAKA SIKUZOTE JAMBO ZURI KWA KILA BINAADAN..JAMBO LA KUPENDEZA...WATARUDI TOKA LIKIZO MDA SIO MREFU NA KUANZA MASOMO...KAMA RAISI SAFARI HII TUNAE... HUYU MHISHIMIWA JK MTU WA SHOO HUYU...MUDA SI MREFU WANAFUNZI WOTE WATACHEKELEA HAO..:))))...AND U NO WHAT..MTOTO AKILILIA WEMBE_______"
ReplyDeleteThese kids should be taught a lesson, and especially for misleading a whole lot of people when they were trying to mop up support for their stupidity of boycotting classes. Nimewasikiliza redioni wakisema eti hata zile 60% serikali inazolipa eti wao ndio wanazilipa pia(not true as they are/will be responsible for the remaining 40% only) Another thing they were on the radio saying that they have to repay the 40% one year upon graduation(crap, as they are given 10 years to pay up!)
I think someone got to them and told them that they are in a losing battle, and that they better apolgise and hope for the best.
Anonymous 8:17 PM I hear you, and if I am not mistaken there was a former Minister of Education who suggested the same thing but was considered to be ruining TZ's education system. TZ tunafundisha wanafunzi agriculture toka Forms I mpaka VI halafu anakuja ingia SUA anaanza na moja bila ya any credit for the last 'wasted' six years of studying agriculture - go figure! The system forgets teaching English basics and mathematics - I agree with the former minister that schools should be left to teach academics and let the numerous colleges in TZ teach professions
(oops, Gilardino just scored for AC Milan and seems to be no all English CL final!!)
sasa msamaha wa nini? kwani si kweli serikali inabidi iwalipe au? komaeni mbona mnakuwa soft soft na hao viongozi mbona choka mbaya sana...wengine moustache umekomaa kishenzi ,wengine oversize suit, wengine Tie na shati haviendani kabisa...nyie ni zero kabisa bora mngekaa kimya tuu bila any Press release na sasa mmewapa kichwa serikali na mtachaguliwa wachache kama nyie pichani ili muwe mfano9u know what i'm talking eeennnh?)
ReplyDeleteSasa mmeishia kuomba msamaha.Hasira hasara. Mtaifanya serikali kuweka masharti magumu kwenye ulipaji mikopo.
Who are they by the way!!!!! Utoto tu.
M.Ushauri

ReplyDeleteJust like the debate on dual citizenship to this! When are babies of University of Dar Es Salaam going to grow up???
ReplyDeleteIn ignorant manner pumped up with jealousy they came to the conclusion that dual citizenship should not be passed.
In same manner except for the jealousy, they set out to go on strike and later with tails between their legs go back asking for forgiveness. Are these really the leaders of tomorrow?? Is this the hope for the future of Tanzania??? Will they ever be in a position to defend the rights of Tanzania in global scenario, if every time they embark on rash decisions without a contingent plan?
Yes we can ask for the leaders to be expelled, but seriously is it the leaders or the followers who should be sacked? I actually would congratulate the leaders despite making rash judgments; they were able to convince the majority to follow them. They can make great marketing/sales executives (with fine tuning) since they can really get people to believe in their crap, ironically they can become good politicians too!
Anyway our problems we don’t seat down to analyze our decisions before we embark on them. It’s high time the education system of Tanzania is revised. We are creating people who, yes know how to read and write but don’t exactly know what the hell they have just read! Students need to be involved with the society and government as whole. In other countries you here research for a government done at university level, etc! In our country is rarely you hear the contribution from the higher institutes.
Education is not cheap, free stuff is over; it’s a true fact people need to come up with solutions on how to proceed with their education.
I pray the day we hear serious contribution from our university brothers and sisters. Tanzanian’s future is dependent on your performance and not foolishness!

Daruso disowns statement on students` crisis
ReplyDelete2007-05-04 09:25:35
By Christina Mwangosi
In a dramatic turn, the Dar es Salaam University Students Organization (Daruso) yesterday disowned a statement made by the Tanzania Higher Learning Institutions Students` Organization (Tahliso) to the effect that the suspended students have apologized to the government.
Daruso also rejected the view given by Tahliso that the students? strike was both wrong and illegal.
``The strike was legal?and the students have not apologized to the government.
We have not succumbed to the government`s stance,`` said Daruso President Daudi Deo in an interview with The Guardian yesterday.
He said university students organizations recently met under the umbrella of Tahliso, and agreed to write a letter of apology to President Jakaya Kikwete and other people who were insulted and damaged by the outcome of the legal strike through billboards, placards, and posters.
``We want to apologize to people whose reputation had been affected by the outcome of the strike?but that does not mean the strike was wrong and illegal,`` he said.
``Our grievances are still genuine. It was not our intention to insult anybody,`` he added.
The Daruso President said Tahliso had overlooked critical issues of the entire controversy and come up with different issues contrary to the recent universities students` organizations meeting.
In what appeared to be students bowing to government conditions, Tahliso said in its statement that the suspended students had apologized to the government and that the strike was a wrong and improper approach of resolving the problem.
``We appeal to the government to forgive all students who took part in the strike,`` read part of the statement.
The students` organizations` apex body had also warned political parties against using the strike in advancing their political interests.
But the Daruso president disagreed with the official Tahliso position saying: ``The idea when we sat as Tahliso was to write a letter of apology to President Kikwete. We agreed on this because Daruso was unable to control emotional and disturbed students who designed placards that carried insulting messages during the strike.``
Deo said they had planned to include genuine students` demands in the letter to the President rather than letting him receive students` complaints through the media.
``We had agreed to send a formal request to meet with the President and discuss problems in higher learning institutions,`` he added.
He said Daruso did not meet with Tahliso office bearers and agree to apologize to the government in relation to the strike as claimed by the students organizations` apex body.
``Daruso did not say the strike was wrong?the strike was legal,`` said Deo.
He blamed Tahliso for contradicting issues and calling a press conference that revealed different facts to the public.
In accordance with the country`s constitution, he said, Tahliso has no mandate to refrain anybody students, student organizations or political parties from pressing for other peoples` rights or voicing out against any misconduct.
``Daruso called on the public to help the students out of the problems. We did not single out specific political parties or politicians?it was a call for all Tanzanians,`` he said.
Daruso according to the student leader, was still readily available to defend students who would not manage to pay the 40 per cent contribution as required by the university management.
The organization wants the government to allow back all suspended students regardless of their financial position, taking into account the prevailing level of poverty facing majority of families.

Wanajichanganya tu. Hawa wanasema hivi hawa wanasema hivi.
ReplyDeleteInaonyesha jinsi upeo wa akili yao ulivyo.
Kusoma higher learning insitutions in TZ it is not a big deal guys.
Nyie mnaona mkisha apply basi mkakubaliwa kwenye hivyo vyuo basi ndio nyie mmekua Mungu wadogo. Mgome nyie , msuse nyie, muandamane nyie, mpinge dual citizenship nyie wakati hamna hata hoja. It is so sad.
Hawakumbuki hata kupay back to the society. Ndio maana rushwa haziishi kwa vile we are so self centered people na kasumba yetu ni ya kutaka kujitajirisha tu individuals.
