FLAVIANA'S WARDROBE SAGA
First and foremost, we at Mustafa Hassanali Couture would like to congratulate Ms Flaviana Matata for performing well at the Miss Universe Pageant which is attributed to the young girl’s zeal, zest and support from her organisers, sponsors and the people who voted for her.
Flaviana prior to being a Miss Universe Tanzania 2007 had an opportunity to be cast to showcase our “Namaste” Collection in January 2007. Pictures of that Show were published in Issa Michuzi Blog amongst many others.
Since May 28 2007, the finals of the Miss Universe pageant, The Issa Michuzi Blog has been flooded with comments, remarks, feedbacks and allegation in regards to the Her Wardrobe, this has been intensified more so, since her arrival back from Mexico.
Mustafa Hassanali would like to clarify, refute and abstain from the following remarks:

But we would want to make clear, we design, create, construct and embellish as per the clients budget. Ally Rhemtullah is another qualified designer from USA whilst Elly Mlaki studied in UK. The Late Kiiza Kahama studied in Paris. We Have So many professional DESIGNERS in Tanzania some who are trained and others are Qualified by Experience.

What Ms Flaviana Matata Wore during the pageant, had nothing to do with the Qualification status of designers in “Bongo” but its entire her own judgement, she is above 18yrs old, and that of her Organisation Miss Tanzania Universe.
Mustafa Hassanali did design two over the Top Evening Gowns for Miss Flaviana Matata as her personal wardrobe which was commissioned and paid for by Flaviana personally.

I cant think of any Tanzanian spot I visit more often than yours.
What this gentleman is doing is advertisement in a very beatiful english language.
I wont be supprised if all the other mails were sent by him as well.
My opinion the bloggspot should remain as nutral as possible and these marketing people should find another place to showcast their products.

Kama proffessional person with a big empire like that sioni sababu ya wewe kuja huku kujibu hayo mambo ambayo watu walisema na wengine wakaeleza ukweli wa aliyezishona hizo nguo kua sio wewe. Na najua umeona pia hizo habari zimo humu humu kwenye blog.
Kuhusu Price's allegations ....action speak louder than words. Shona nguo zako kama ziko affordable wengi tutanunua tu.
Are they advertising or doing publicity in here? Is this the first international pageant we have attended? How about the other shows that no body even gets a chance to show off their designer creativities. Who to be blame there or just because this one Flavia did her things and some of you guys wish could be the one who designed her wardrobe.

Wengine oh!!! damage control nini alichofanya wrong kwa hiyo sasa hivi anajitahidi kuelezea wateja wake nini kilienda wrong ili kurudisha uaminifu kwa wateja wake? Mwenye kutakiwa kufanya damage control ni huyo aliye design nguo za flavia lakini sio huyu. Yeye hayamuhusu na ni kama anamkandia huyo designer indirect.
Kama hajitangazi basi yapo mengine. Hamna free advertisement kama alitaka kujitangaza zaidi angetoa gauni bure kwa flavia akienda kwenye mashindano. Sio baada ya mambo yameisha ndio oh mimi style yangu ni hii na ile.
Too much... mambo yameisha na waliosema walikua hawajui na waliuliza na wengine wakajibu.

In short sio kuuza tu na kusubiria aje mtu mwingine uuze, inabidi ufatilie mteja uone satisfaction level kama kuna weakness una-fix ili next time anapata kitu kilicho bora as it is cheap to keep a customer you already have than looking for new customers. Sasa kwa favour unazozipata hapa nchini isiwe kigezo cha kujiona wewe ni mbunifu bora kuliko wengine na kutaka kuwasemea wabunifu wenzako.

There is no reason for a designer to come out and speak this after the pageant is gone. How if they won the thing would he do the same thing here? There is no need of marketing by indirect disapprove of the other designers who tried their best to provide something for our Miss Universe.
The organizers, Maria, Flavia and her designers deserve more than this. They accomplished a lot with (who knows) how low was the budget and over a period of that little time they had.
