Dear Bro Michuzi,
I would gladly appreciate it if you could pass this message along.
I am a Tanzanian currently pursuing graduate studies abroad. For my first degree, I majored in Mathematics, with a minor in Computer Science. During the senior year of my undergraduate, I developed a keen interest in Quantitative Finance and Economics, and that is what my Master's thesis research is based upon.

Before returning to do my MSc, I worked in the financial sector (in Tanzania) for close to a year.I am immensely interested in establishing a forum or portal through which Tanzanian experts in Finance and Economics and related areas (such as Accounting, Operations Research, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Sociology, Psychology & Cognitive Sciences, Politics, etc) wherever they are, can discuss academic and industrial research ideas; learn innovative interdisciplinary approaches to dealing with Finance and Economics; talk about current economic and investment trends in Tanzania, East Africa and Africa as a whole as well as post job vacancies; establish business connections and give job-seekers an opportunity to market themselves.
I have tried searching the net for such a site but could not find any.
The idea is that we will have multiple authors and to his end, interested parties are invited to be authors/contributors.
kindest regards,
Nalitolela, P. S.
