
The Royal Norwegian Embassy organizes a Norwegian Culture and Food Festival on 15 September under the motto “coast to coast” at the Mövenpick Royal Palm Hotel at 7 pm. showcasing art & craft from Tanzania, Norwegian delicacies and acrossover-concert of about 25 artists involved at the UMOJA Cultural Flying Carpet Project.
Funded by the Foreign Ministry of Norway this project started in East Africa in 2007 and involves musicians, dancers and acrobats from different parts of Africa and Norway.
Monday's concert will include artists from Norway, Mozambique and Tanzania. The Tanzanian musicians are students and teachers from the Taasisi ya Sanaa na Utamaduni in Bagamoyo and the DCMA.
