Dennis SseboTop Radio and TV presenter DENNIS SSEBO has just signed a hefty contract with Dar's trendiest radio, Magic FM 92.9. The dark, tall and handsome dude, who formerly shone with his weekly 'Friday nite Live' show on EATV with DJ Bush Baby) wasn't ready to share with Globu ya Jamii all the contractual details. But confirmed the deal. It went on like this:
Globu ya Jamii: Hello, is that Ssebo?
Ssebo: Who wants to know?
Ssebo: Who wants to know?
Its Globu ya Jamii Newsroom here, sir. We just got wind that an hour ago you have signed a contract with Magic FM...How true is the news?
Ssebo: Good gracious. News travel fast these days, doesn't it?
Globu ya Jamii: Is that supposed to be a YES, sir?
Ssebo: I can't diskass anything mzee. Its confidensho between the two parties.
Globu ya Jamii: Of course, we appreciate that. We also know that you are a Loya. And that this radio and TV things are part time jobs. Now, when are you going on air with Magic FM?
Ssebo: (laughs his head off) Ok. Ok. Ok hold your faya... Hold your faya... The programme takes off on the 1st of February, this year, of course. It's gonna be known as 'Sundowner' running from 4 to 6 PM everyday from Monday to Friday.
Globua ya Jamii: Who is gonna be your DJ. Would you be teaming up with DJ Bush Baby again?
Ssebo: I shall be working with this beautiful and talented lady called Rubby. Talking about Dj Bush Baby, for your information, and OMG, what a coincidence - Bush Baby too has just signed a contract with Uganda's NationTV and Sanyo FM radio TODAY!!! Can you imagine that. TODAY!!!. This glob is lucky to get all these news first. And can I ask you something... who told you about my Magic FM deal - i mean, just 20 minutes after signing the deal???

ReplyDeleteHe is from Uganda,the guy is well talented,4 all viewers of Friday Night might witness this,since he left EAT,I no watch that show.This is a challenge to radio,Tv presenters,be creative.....due to upcoming East Africa Community all local presenter might loose their jobs and will taken by Kenyan and Ugandans,am not biased or discriminative ,Ssebo is a good presenter,not boring like other presenters,also cloud's guy Kibonde and his friend -powerbreasfast and XXL session are doing good .keep it guys-mfukikeni Ssebo
