1.kwenye address zip/post code tz hakuna na ni lazima ujaze ili kuoda kitu,lkn kutokana na uzoefu wangu niliweka dsm as zip code ikapita.
2.delivery ni very expensive,$15 for 15 days delivery!vitu vinatoka wapi?mars?
3.refund policy yenu inasemaje?what if im not happy with ur goods,how long can i take b4 returning the goods.
all in all,very good job,i like the pay on delivery option.
It is a good idea to introduce online business in the country, however I am sceptical on how it will work.
ReplyDeleteFirst, although you provided your physical address as in DSM, but you did not mentioned where the goods are located, it does matter because buyer may be liable to pay duties if goods are from oversees.
Second, your shipping and handling charges are so high, how can you justify charging $15 postage + $10handling for mobile phone handset to be delivered in DSM TZ taking up to 15 days?.I am geting implication that you do not have any of these products in stock but you depend on geting paid and then order the item oversees (probably Asia/Europe or America).
Third, you need to be aware there are law which protect consumer dealing with distance buying, even if there is no specific Tanzania Act with regards to distance selling, still common law will take it cause, one of the consumer right here is the right to return the good if it is not as described.
For my advise, you need to explained every thing very clear with regard to what I pointed above.

ReplyDeletedelivery is within 15 days!it can be 6,7 or 10.
1.lack of zip codes is actually a bad thing,soon Tanzania Posts will introduce the system.you can override that with +255,or your post office box.
IT is important to have your zip code so as to fight fraud and for other technical reasons.
2. Some products are shipped from factories,that is why we have a 15 days delivery cap.(think custom made dresses,furniture's etc).
3.Refund Policies are there,just take enough quality time to read through our website,they are very open.if you happened to be a member you even have a return button at your finger tips,within the user account page.we try to be as descriptive as possible,we are sure you will like our goods.but you can return them as well.
as you see we have pay-on-delivery as well,and many other options once you get to know us.
