His Excellency Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete, the President of the United Republic of Tanzania has sent a condolence message to His Excellency Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, the President of Uganda following the tragic bomb attacks that left 74 people dead and injuring 70 others. The message reads as follows:
“I have received with great shock and sorrow, the sad news of the heinous bomb attacks perpetrated by terrorists at the Ethiopian Restaurant and Rugby Club, in Kampala on the 11th July 2010, leading to the loss of lives of 74 innocent people, and injuries to more than 70 others.
I would like, on behalf of the Government and People of the United Republic of Tanzania, to express our heartfelt sympathies and profound condolences to you and through you to the bereaved families and relatives, for the loss of these innocent people.
The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania condemns in the strongest terms, these senseless and barbarous acts of terrorism and aggression, committed by the enemies of Uganda on account of the Uganda’s involvement in the peace keeping Mission in Somalia. The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania salutes the heroic role played by Uganda in the maintenance of peace in Somalia and hopes that the competent authorities of the Republic of Uganda will leave no stone unturned in an endeavour to apprehend and bring the perpetrators of this heinous act to justice.
At this moment of sorrow and sadness, our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the deceased and injured. May the Almighty God give them the strength and fortitude to bear the grief of their great loss and rest the souls of the deceased in eternal peace, as well as grant speedy recovery to the injured.
While wishing for your personal good health and prosperity, please accept, Your Excellency and Dear Brother, the assurances of my highest consideration.”

ReplyDeleteIla ugaidi pia uko wa aina nyingi.
Kuna Gaidi liko mitaa ya kati huku UK ambalo linahatarisha maisha ya watu. Watu leo hii maisha yetu yako hatarini, hatuna hata chakula, na pesa za ku-meet other costs of life na ku-afford the necessaries of life.
Welldone Tanzania for declaring a quick and sound position.
Magaidi wote washindwe kabisa popote walipo!
Uganda walitaka kuwasingizia waasi 'walioko' Kongo ili waingie kupora mali tena! wenyewe Alshabaab wamewawahi kwa kutangaza kuwa wao ndio waliofanya ufedhuli huo! Poleni Waganda.
Tehe Tehe Tehe Tehe ....
Once a terrorist, always a terrorist!
