Thomas Nguluma (left) from Rex Attorneys and Lotus Menezes former associate at Ako Law in association with Clyde & Co went to London earlier this week to start a three month training program in the top law firms in London.

Nguluma seconded to Addleshaw Goddard and  Menezes, seconded to Slaughter and May,  started their first day of training today.  This is an amazing experience for young lawyers in Tanzania to apply via the Tanganyika Law Society in February of every year and the intake is from September to November of every year.

The program is currently in its fifth year and Tanzania has sent candidates over the years and this year they took two. This year there are eleven male candidates and five female candidates from several African countries, and we are encouraging more and more to apply next year. Look out for the adverts from the Tanganyika Law Society.

Its an opportunity to receive training at top law firms and get an invaluable network across Africa. Visit the ILFA website for more information: http://www.ilfa.org.uk
