With 50% of the world’s population under the age of 27 and the majority living in urban areas; it is imperative that solutions to global challenges engage the youth.

In light of this the World Economic Forum is establishing a unique group of young people- The Global Shapers Community. The Global Shapers Community aims to provide youth with a global platform to share the future- integrating the personal, community and global dimension.

Shapers are organized in a network of local hubs based in major cities around the world. They undertake events and activities that generate a positive impact within their local communities. The Tanzania Shapers will be enabled to collaborate and learn from each other through the community platform.
