On
October 16, 2012 the United States Deputy Trade Representative
Ambassador Demetrios Marantis (centre) paid Tanzania's Vice President
Dr. Mohammed Ghalib Bilal (left) a courtesy call at the State
House in Dar es Salaam. The two leaders expressed their contentment over
cordial cooperation between the two countries and explored on ways
through which the relationship can be further strengthened. Ambassador
Marantis and his delegation is on a two days visit to Tanzania to
discuss efforts to increase bilateral trade between the United States
and Tanzania as well as the development of trade within the East African
