Dear Alumni and friends of UDSM, Chairman of the Board of NMB Bank, Dr. Edwin Mhede, has appointed our Alumna Ruth Zaipuna as the Chief Executive Officer @nmbtanzania with effect from August 18, 2020. Ruth holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from the University of Dar-es-Salaam.
Also, she is an Associate Certified Public Accountant CPA (T).
Ruth becomes the first woman to hold a senior position at NMB Bank, where she was the acting CEO of the Bank since October 2019.
She has worked with various organizations including Prince Waterhouse Coopers Limited (PwC), served as an Executive Director Finance and CFO of Standard Chartered Bank @stancharttz before joining NMB Bank.
