ROTARY Club of Bahari Dar es Salaam supporting menstrual hygiene awareness at Mtakuja Beach Secondary School through education of 494 boys and 582 girls in a two-day workshop and thereafter distribution of reusable sanitary pads to over 400 girls and teachers at the school to celebrate World Menstrual Hygiene Day on 27th May 2022, as part of phase one of the project.
The environmentally-friendly reusable menstrual hygiene kit contained: 8 liners , 2 shields, 1 carry pouch, 1 ziplock, 1 drawstring bag and 1 instruction manual.
