ReplyDeleteRest in peace.
If Roses grow in Heaven,
ReplyDeleteLord, please pick a bunch for me,
Place them in my Mother's arms and tell her they're from me.
Tell her, I love her and I miss her,
and when she turns to smile,
place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for awhile..
Mama, Are you celebrating in Heaven?
Tell me how it feels not to hurt anymore,
that's something I've never heard you say.
I wish I could see you Mama,
standing straight again with loving eyes.
It's better you can't see me now,
I'll see you in Heaven one day.
Just think Mama,
you'll never get any older than you were.
Here in my heart I hear your voice with its many inflections,
see your eyes and smile myself when I remember yours.
I miss you Mama,
I'm so glad I always tried to tell you and show you that I loved you.
I'll be all right in time, to everything there is a season.
Remembering you is easy, I do it every day,
but there's an ache within my heart,
that will never go away
In my heart mama, you live forever.
I'm not as constantly sad anymore because I know you are at peace,
which I long to have someday.
I mostly just remember the good times and think of you,
and your beautiful smile and loving ways.
I don't know when or if the grief and pain ever stops,
You were the best mother anyone could have ever wanted to have.
I feel your love even now.
Your life was blessed, as mine has been.
God has shone His love on my family.
Though I miss you dearly, I know you are at peace now
I know you are happy there Mama ,I can almost see the sparkle in your eye.
Just wait o'er the way for us,
and one grand day we'll meet you by-and-by.
Your loving daughter,
Christine!!!

ReplyDeleteSimfahamu huyu mama, but just from reading her kids' comments ime touch sana moyo wangu. Inaonyesha jinsi ambavyo hao watoto wanavyompenda mama yao. Mungu awabariki. Wamenifanya nimfikirie sana mama yangu ambaye yuko hai, na nimetoa machozi kufikiria kwamba kuna siku nitampoteza na it scares the heck out of me.
ReplyDeletePoleni jamani, nitawakumbuka kwenye sala zangu. Mungu amlaze marehemu mahali pema peponi
