Please join us on Sunday, October 4, 2009, for a Eucharist Service in Swahili and English. The service begins at 3:30pm with music and videos from a Tanzanian choir.

Holy Communion will be served and all baptized and believing Christians are invited to the Lord’s Table to share in this meal. Kim Knowle will preach the sermon. Kim served two years in the Peace Corps in West Africa and is now in her final year of seminary to become a pastor.

After the service, there will be time to greet one another and enjoy African snacks. The service is at Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 35 E. Stanton Ave., ¼ mile off North High Street behind Tim Horton’s.
